AN ORDINANCE EXCEEDING THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION LIMITS AND ESTABLISHING A CAP BANK IN CALENDAR YEAR 2026 (N.J.S.A. 40A:4-45.14)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and passed on the first reading at a regular meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Mullica, held on February 2, 2026.  Ordinance #02-2026 was approved for final adoption after public hearing at a meeting of said Township Committee held in the Mullica Township Elementary School, 500 Elwood Road, Elwood, New Jersey, on February 27, 2026, at 7:00 P.M.  A copy of this Ordinance is available online and a copy shall be made immediately available at the Township Clerk’s Office in the Township Municipal Building located at 4528 S. White Horse Pike, Elwood, New Jersey at no cost to those members of the general public requesting same.

ESTABLISHING SALARY RANGES OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES FOR THE YEAR 2026

SEALED BID SOLICITATION FOR LEASE OF TOWNSHIP PROPERTY AS PER N.J.S.A.40A:12-14

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Mullica, Atlantic County, State of New Jersey, at its offices located at 4528 S White Horse Pike, PO Box 317, Elwood, NJ 08217, on or before Tuesday March 17, 2026 at 10:00 am, prevailing time, for sealed bids for the lease of Township Property known as Block 10802 Lot 1 (4619 White Horse Pike) in the Township of Mullica, County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey.

The lease will be awarded to the highest bidder, subject to the Township of Mullica reserving the right to reject any and all bids.  Respondents shall include in their proposals a detailed description of the proposed use of the property, the proposed lease term and a monthly or annual lease payment, as well as any other monetary or non-monetary considerations that may be beneficial to the Township.

The successful bidder will be required to obtain all necessary State and Local permits and approvals, provide adequate insurance coverage naming the Township of Mullica an “Additional Insured” and furnish a maintenance bond in an amount to be determined prior to the effective date of the lease.

Hand-delivery of proposal packages is recommended.   The Township assumes no responsibility for delays by any carrier, mail service, or delivery service that result in the proposal being received after the stated due date and time. Any proposals received after the deadline, whether by mail or otherwise, will be deemed non-responsive. No proposals will be accepted after the date set forth above. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive any immaterial defect or informalities as permitted by law.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Deputy Municipal Clerk for the Township of Mullica, County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM prevailing time at the Mullica Township Municipal Building, 4528 White Horse Pike, Elwood, NJ at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:

LA-2025 MA Burdick Avenue Roadway & Drainage Improvements, Mullica Township

The project consists of asphalt mill and overlay along Burdick Avenue. Stormwater and drainage improvements including the installation of inlets and underground HDPE pipes at identified local low areas to direct stormwater runoff following the proposed roadway elevation. Other site improvements include driveway repairs, and striping.

The Specifications, Plans, and Bid Documents for the project can be obtained at a cost of $50.00 from the office of the Engineer, ARH Associates, Inc., 215 Bellevue Avenue, Hammonton, NJ 08037, phone (609) 561-0482, and may be inspected by prospective Bidders during business hours. The Engineer will furnish the Bidder with a copy of the specifications upon receipt of payment (for the cost of the specification preparation).

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10-5-31 and N.J.A.C 17:27 17:27 et seq.

PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A 40:55D-11 “CONTENTS OF NOTICE OF HEARING ON APPLICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT,” THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS BEING PROVIDED
