Economic Advisory/Development Commission

Promoting prosperity, new business and revitalization in Mullica Township.

About the Commission

The Economic Development Commission makes recommendations to the Township Committee regarding efforts, programs and initiatives that will further the economic well-being of the township, expand the ratable base, attract new businesses, assist in the rehabilitation and revitalization of existing businesses and otherwise promote prosperity in the township.

The Chairperson and Co-Chairperson are appointed annually at the first meeting of the year, following the Township Committee Reorganization meeting, by vote of the Commission members.

Membership

  • 7 members
  • One member is the Director of the Department of Development & Housing; the others are residents and/or business owners in the township
  • Appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Township Committee
  • Three-year terms, evenly staggered
