Accountability and oversight

The Office of Professional Standards receives, processes and supervises internal affairs investigations into allegations of criminal conduct or misconduct by members of the department.

It ensures every allegation against a member of the Mullica Township Police Department is investigated thoroughly and objectively to its logical conclusion.

The office keeps an index of all complaints received against members, which is submitted to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office every year.
